About Luciano

Best service at this website 2020

Distinguished mathematician that graduated from the most prestigious math program.

Throughout his career he tutored numerous students who achieved success, and also served as teaching assistant for every available college level math course.

Top graduating scholar with highest GPA in the whole class. Check the website link in my profile to read about the student spotlight my university wrote about me, or my Linkedin website for my achievements.

I enjoy seeing my students succeed just like I did!

I feel great pride when I teach someone the best way to reason through problems and then see how they reproduce it by themselves and achieve their goals.

Naturally occured while developing as a Mathematician. I'm passionate about the subject and I want others to achieve their proposed results within it.

Double Degree in Mathematics & Physics (3.99/4.00 GPA)

Master degree from Cambridge

Teaching Assistant for every available math course in college

Tutored for every standarized math exam

About the lesson

Communication is key.

The student will tell what he/she wants to learn and I will ideate the most effective program to reach the desired result.

My way of teaching consists in giving the student the necessary tools to become independent, and be able to reason through problems alone. First I make sure the student understands the lectured material; if there are any theory doubts, we brush up on those at the beginning. For this, I will ask the student to send me what was covered in school before our class so that we can make a more efficient use of our time. Next, we will closely work together through homework problems, with the purpose of illustrating the reasoning and thought process needed to arrive to the solutions. This, together with clever tricks that I will provide, will give the student the confidence needed to tackle problems that will later appear in exams. I believe that most of the time a student struggles with math, it is because the teacher fails to motivate the subject correctly. My objective is to share the right way of teaching.

All the way from highschool to college.

To contact me.

Several students of mine achieving perfect scores in SATs, final exams, etc.

I always aim high and achieve.

Perfect! I have been totally impressed with the excellent service that I have received since starting with Lucho. He is amazing, and he works hard to make sure I understand the topics thoroughly. Also, I love the level of communication and how quickly he is to respond to my questions or concerns. I must also give massive praise for his flexibility and how patient he is in teaching the material. Because of him, I have one of the highest grades in the class, and I could not be any more grateful. I highly recommend him to whoever needs assistance in math.

I sent him all of my review material before our sessions and he was always prepared with written up solutions to all the problems. Super fast communication, and helped me list all of the most important formulas and concepts to understand. Great tutor! :)

Very pleased with how clear and helpful Luciano's explanations were. We worked on my homework problems (scored 100% in all of them) and got an A on my first midterm thanks to the three weeks of tutoring we had, during which I understood how to solve problems by myself. I will keep having Luciano as my tutor for this term and the term to come!

Out of all the tutors I had Luciano was the best one. I decided to take calculus over the summer, and online classes made it hard for me to understand the material. Thankfully I found Luciano and he cleared all my doubts, worked through homework problems with me, and gave me tricks to solve harder related problems by myself. Starting this new semester I feel much more confident in my classes! Thanks!

I needed to prepare for a Statistics test and I am so glad I found Luciano! He cleared all my doubts by explaining concepts in a straightforward way that I could understand, and also helped me through homework problems I initially couldn't do. I got my first A in the course and I'm so happy! I definitely recommend him, he will help and guide you with all you need.

I started to study with Luciano because I struggled with mathematical analysis (calculus) courses at my university. Mostly we focused on differentiation and integrals.

He brought my practical skills to a new level: I learned how to solve basic integrals really fast and how to approach more complicated examples. He also taught me really advanced tricks such as using complex substitutions.

Luciano explained theoretical material really well too. After our classes I finally started to understand proofs of theorems which I never could understand before.

After studying with Luciano I got “A”s for two of my math exams and gained a lot of skills useful for a physicist.

Luciano promptly answered all my questions and helped with the homework. He is also very attentive and friendly.

Overall, I’m very happy that I chose to study with Luciano and would highly advise him as a tutor!
