About Anjali
Hello! Throughout school, Math has always been my favorite subject and I love helping other students understand it. In high school, I tutored students for free both before and after school every day. I provided them with resources and help to make sure they could be the best math student they could be, and I hope to do the same for you!
I went to a high school that was one of the poorest in our county. Many students didn't have the opportunity to hire tutors or computer access at home to get online help. I made sure that these obstacles did not hinder their ability to do well in classes. I printed out worksheets for them, found them computer access in school, and worked with them whenever they needed me to.

I first ask students what concepts they feel the least confident about and what they feel the most confident about. Then I ask them what they struggle the most within math, is it the conceptual process, word problems, solving, etc. Then I try different methods of teaching them and ask for their feedback till we find the one that works best.

Anju helped my son Dean who is in 8th grade with math. Math was his least favorite subject which made him not want to try at all in the class, but I really think the issue was that his teacher moved to fast and he couldn't keep up. After spending only about three weeks getting tutoring one to two times a week from Anju he was able to keep up much better in the class and started doing well on tests. It really helps a kid to have someone take the time to explain the basics to them before teaching them more advanced concepts, which is exactly what Anju did. I would highly recommend her!!!
