About Isabella
I am a cum laude graduate of Williams College with a degree in Psychology and French. I currently work at Columbia University in a research lab studying adolescent depression.
I have 10+ years of tutoring experience with students ranging from 5-18 years old. Subjects I have taught in the past include: test prep (ACT/SAT), math, English/reading, French, debate/speech, and more. I am passionate about developing relationships with my students to better understand their emotional and academic needs, which ultimately helps them succeed.
Reach out with any questions you have--I am excited to connect!
I have tutored over 20 students ranging from ages 5-18 in a wide range of subjects. My students have achieved success in their subjects, increasing at least one letter grade or 100 points on a standardized test. I also work in child psychology, which enables me to better understand students' emotional needs.

I provide a complimentary session where I meet with the student and parent in order to assess their needs. My services are student-driven, so I am best able to assist students if I understand what their goals are.
I also prioritize developing a relationship with each student, which enables me to identify their emotional and academic needs. My approach understands that my students are people first, and I prioritize building student confidence and independence.
