About Katarina
I am an energetic and warm person with a passion for working with kids and getting them excited about learning. I am currently an undergrad at Boston College majoring in elementary Education and special education, so I'm always learning new teaching techniques and tools. I have taken academic courses in teaching elemetary math and have experience tutoring all elementary subjects.
I am passionate about providing children with an enviornment that allows them to suceed. I find so much joy in providing the support a student needs in order to reach their full potential. As I move further through my education, I am excited to work towards promoting equal educational opportunities through directly working with students.
I am currently an undergrad at Boston College in the Lynch School of Education and Human Development with a double Major in Elementary Education and Human Development with a Minor in Special Ed. I currently tutor 2 elementary students in a homework help format. I have also consistently worked with children through working at summer camps, shadowing a special education teacher, and volunteering in a wide variety of placements.

I generally first speak with both the parent and student and dicuss goals, strengths, and places for improvement. From there I will outline an overall action plan with will help us reach the student's goal.
I have worked mostly with Elementary aged students in a homework help format, but I also have experience working with Middle schoolers. I specifically have experience tutoring students with attention deficit disorders.
