About Brian
I'm Brian. I graduated from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in history. I went on to pursue a Masters Degree at The University of Colorado at Denver in Early Childhood Education. After completing my masters, I began my teaching career in the private schools in New Jersey and the DMV area and have been teaching in the private schools ever since. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I am able to effectively work collaboratively with students and their families as well as other members of a child’s academic team. I am passionate about helping students to maintain and strengthen academic skills in a variety of curricula. I enjoy tutoring language arts, math and social studies.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Skiing and spending time by the water are two of my favorite activities. I am motivated and eager to learn more and am always looking for new teaching strategies to incorporate in my work with students. My students inspire me to keep learning and to always put my best foot forward.
I am easy to reach and readily available. I will respond to messages as quickly as possible. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a session.
