About Michelle
My name is Michelle and I'm currently a college student at the University of Michigan. I've tutored children for more than 3 years, ranging in ages and subjects. I specialize in math and english (grammar, essay) as well as test prep (SAT & ACT). I can provide help with school work or help advance your child by preparing them for subject test-out.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
I enjoy experiencing the moment when children have their "lightbulb" moment. The mooment it clicks in their head and they throughly understand and learned is truely fulfilling and rewarding.
I have been working and volunteering with children for more than 3 years now. In high school, I was the co-President of an after-school science club for elementary students. From junior year of high school to present, I've been tutoring students to help them succeed with subjects they were struggling in or were preparing to test out of.

I will consult with the student & their parents regarding their expectations and goals from tutoring. Then based on the student's avaliablity and schedule, we will together set a weekly schedule of homework/practice and tutoring in order to challenge the student but not overwhelm them.
