About Teresa

Kiddie Club Tutoring has a great passison in educating today's young learners. We try to exceed the learning curve by teaching students in various fun and exciting ways. We are all about helping our students achieve their academic goals while bringing out their passion for learning.

Teresa is the owner and operator of Kiddie Club Tutoring. She has an extensive background in learning and teaching students from infancy to middle school students. She holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a TESOL certificate. She has over 4 years experience tutoring ESL students, 2 years working as a substitute teacher for Elementary and Middle school students, and 3 years working as an Early Education teacher in a daycare center. Teresa understands the importance of having a good foundation in early education for young learners.

I have taken several Early Education classes at Liberty University and Phoenix University for continuing education. I have a TEFL certificate for teaching ESL students from Teach English Worldwide. I have completed the substitute teaching program in Georgia to act as a Subtitute Teacher for Gwinnett County Public Schools. I also hold a Master's degree in Business Administration from Western Governor's University.

About the lesson

Typically, I will assess the areas the student needs help with by learning and identifying their problem areas. The first class may consist of a consultation period where I can listen to the student, practice with examples of where the student is, and determine future materials and methods to help the student advance.

I have worked with several ESL, elementary, and middle school students throughout my career. I have also worked with infancy and toddlers in their early education development stages.

Keep in mind that different teachers have different styles of teaching. The material may be the same but the different methods used may not be easily understood by every student. It does not mean that the teacher is a bad teacher or the student can not learn the material. It just means that you need to find a teacher that can teach you with methods where you are able to learn and understand material the best.
