About Allison
Being a Civil/Structural Engineer allows me to relate the concepts of math to real life situations. Math has been my favorite subject for as long as I can remember, as I have a natural aptitude and love for it. My goal is to help students to easily understand math so that they can get awesome grades, all while having fun!
I love helping students to improve their skills. No other feeling compares to the eureka moment a student has when he/she gains new understanding.
I started tutoring friends and family which allowed me to discover my passion for teaching.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

I like to do a consultation with the student and his/her parent/guardian so we can discuss the areas he/she is having difficulty with or would like to focus on. I believe the consultation also allows the student to get familiar with me so that he/she feels more comfortable asking questions freely during future lessons.
I have worked with students of all ages, ranging from 1st grade to university level.

Allison is a great math tutor. My daughter actually looks forward to sessions with her.

Allison helped me get an A in Pre-calculus.
If you need help with Nursing Dosage Calculations, Allison is the tutor for you!!
I've struggled with Math since high school, so when I found out I had to do Statistics in my bachelor's degree program I was devastated. Thank God for Allison! She taught me everything I needed to know and I actually got an A in my final exam!!
Allison is an amazing tutor!! She knew exactly how to explain everything so that I could understand.
Allison is a great tutor! If it wasn't for her I would still be failing Algebra. She made it so easy to understand and she was extremely patient with me.
Allison is an amazing math tutor! Before she started tutoring my son he was failing math. We tried a few tutors but none of them got through to him the way she did. She really knows how to explain everything in a simple way. My son is getting A's now and is even helping his younger cousin with math!
I was very hesitant about getting tutoring online but Allison really came through. She was patient and explained each problem in such a way that I was able to understand it. I was able to pass statistics after failing it twice. Thanks Allison!!
