About Mindy
My teaching began with home schooling my ADHD nephew from middle school through high school graduation. After, I began privately tutoring students from 1st grade to 5th. Recently I began opening up to working with teens.
My education ends at my second year of college where I realized I did not want to take the standard route. I continued my self education in various avenues and built a life surrounded by learning. I transformed my love of learning into teaching when I home schooled my nephew, who incidentally has ADHD and needed more than what standard curriculum could offer. Once he graduated, I began full time tutoring two home school students for two consecutive years. Sadly, they are moving. Recently I began tutoring two girls in high school level. Currently I have openings.

When I begin, I get a feel for where they are at in the subjects. Each student does an assessment. I then know how much they know and where they have holes. Next, I try to see what approach, based on their best learning type, will be advantageous for them and set clear goals for the student to reach their target.
I have worked with kids from first grade to twelfth. My first student, who really taught me a great deal, has ADHD and high functioning Autism. His diploma proudly sits on his wall.
Ask questions! Feel a teacher out for someone invested in the child's advancement in that subject, but also in life.
I am keenly interested in the economic adjustments at hand and the supply and demand issues we are faced with. Beyond this, I look with earnest at the innovations Elon Musk's enterprises and schemes will muster up.
