About Dylan
My style of tutoring is guiding students to think about the logic of the material, so they can truly understand, rather than just showing them how to do the problem. This makes for a much more successful and confident student.
I have been tutoring on and off for the last ten years. I studied engineering abroad and eventually settled on accounting. I enjoy math, but I know from experience that it can frustrating, and I'd like to help midigate some of that.
I started tutoring my cousin to help him get through college, and I realized I was both good at it and enjoyed it.
I have studied engineering and have a degree in accounting. I have studied math extensively, but algebra is my favorite.

I like to allow as much independence as possible. I let the student work through their assignment until they reach a point where their knowledge I shakey, and then I like to use examples until they can apply that knowledge to their problem.
