About Morgan
As a special education teacher, I'm well versed on evidence based practices and interventions that will help students succeed.
There's nothing quite like the feeling when a student grasps a concept. The look in their eyes is priceless!
I have a Master’s degree in Special Education. I also regularly participate in professional development trainings for reading, writing, and math, as well as social emotional learning and culturally responsive practices.

The first thing I do when working with a new student is simply talk to them. I think it is essential to build trust and rapport with any student. When working with a new student, I always do pre-assessments. This helps me see where the students strengths and needs for improvement are. From there, we can build on their strengths and work on their specific needs.
