About John
Thank you for considering John Hester Tutoring Services. I tutor math including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus 1 and 2, and any lower division college Physics. I frequently tutor mechanics and electromagnetism.
I have been tutoring math and physics full time for 3 years, and I also work as a supplemental instructor for calculus at the community college level. Prior to this, I worked for 15 years as a scientific programmer, specializing in modeling and simulation of high energy physics. My students know me as a friendly, patient person.
I am currently available in the afternoon and evening, by appointment. For college students, we can meet initially in a coffee shop nearby.
My rate is $40/hour. Please respond with the grade level and subject for which you need tutoring. I look forward to hearing from you.
