About Ramtin
Experienced science and math tutor
I’m Ramtin! I am a recent graduate from UC Riverside with a degree in Biology, where I maintained a close to 4.0 GPA. Throughout my academic journey, I discovered that mastering complex concepts requires more than just memorization, it involves truly understanding the material from multiple angles. To achieve this, I used various resources, such as textbooks, online platforms, and practice problems, to explore different methods of learning and solidify my understanding. I believe that each student has a unique learning style, and as a tutor, I am committed to helping my students discover the best resources and strategies that will maximize their learning in each subject.
I have over a year of experience tutoring college STEM courses at the UC Riverside Academic Resource Center, as well as extensive experience tutoring high school students in subjects like biology, chemistry, physics, and math.
My tutoring approach is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance and support. I strive to create a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging, encouraging students to push beyond their comfort zones while building their confidence in the subject matter. I use a variety of teaching methods tailored to each student's needs, including interactive problem-solving, visual aids like diagrams and charts, real-world applications to make abstract concepts more relatable, and step-by-step walkthroughs of complex problems. Additionally, I encourage active participation through discussions and questions to ensure a deep understanding of the material.
Whether you need help with advanced biology, physics, chemistry, math, or other subjects, my goal is to empower you not just to achieve academic success, but also to become a more independent and confident learner.
