About Ellie
Hi! I am a sophomore at Algonquin Regional High School and have math experience as far as Algebra 2. As someone who is passionate about music, sports, and acedemics, I can connect with a variety of students. Although I am new to the tutoring business, I have spent many hours helping my classmates with difficult curriculum.
Math is a challenging subject and I look forward to helping students improve their skills. I have learned from experience how stressful and frustrating it is to not understand a math subject. Providing assistance to students who need it is something that I enjoy.
Although I have not had any formal training, I have spent many nights working through problems with my peers and helping them understand the material. I am typically the first person they contact when in need of assistance. I have also worked as a counselor at a busy, diverse summer camp and have experience with a variety of age groups.
