About Ben
I am a high achieving student and love working with others in order to be able to help them achieve their educational goals. I am an honors student at Penn State University studying Biology with a concentration in exercise physiology and the ultimate goal of pursuing a PhD becoming a scientist. Additionally, I am a Division 1 swimmer at Penn State and have achieved Academic All-American and All-Big Ten honors throughout my career. In addition to classes, I am involved in exercise physiology and sport performance analytics research focusing on health promotion, injury prevention, and performance optimization.
I have five years of tutoring experience via both online and in-person tutoring in a variety of subjects including K-12 math, reading, writing, and science. My area of expertise is in biology and other sciences, but I am more than happy to work with you in any subject, and test prep. I use a student-centered approach and make sure that the student's goals are prioritized in every session.
I am looking forward to working with you to help you acheive your goals!
I love the feeling of knowing that I was able to help someone achieve a goal. As an athlete and a student I have experienced the rollercoaster of trying to get over a hump that seems impossible, but the gratification of seeing myself or someone I care about do their "impossible" is second to none.
