About Geselle
Although I started my business in 2018, I have been teaching students basic math skills for over five years. I have a passion for math and taking almost every math course from algebra to calculus 4 (differential equations). I am determined to help students realize that math can actually be really easy when you get the basic principles down . I love teaching and sharing my knowledge of math so this is a very exciting opportunity for me .
I actually started teaching my brothers . My parents believed you should learn out of school as much as you learn in school. While teaching them, I also started working at Good, Better, Best which is a company that provides tutoring and day care services to kids between the age of 3- 15. With that, I was able to build my brand and reach outside of the company.
Well I have taken almost every math class due to the fact my major in grad school is atmospheric science . I have taken College Algebra, trig, statistics , calculus 1-4, and many other math classes throughout my high school and college years . I use these principles daily, because I still am in grad school so the material is still fresh.

Well first I would like them to get comfortable with me. I would just ask them about their background and also the math class they are taking now . Using that information , I will create a pretext just to see their level of skills . I want to know what they have to improve on , their strengths , and really get a feel of how they learn . Students learn new material in different ways and I want to accommodate that.
I have worked with kids from the ages of 3-19. With this big age range, I use different ways to teach so that the student will best understand the concepts.
