About Christine
As a college student, I understand the concerns regarding students who struggle with math or have teachers/professors that may have not taught the subject clearly. I've taken rigorous math courses and have been surrounded by other students who were also on the same boat as I. I'm looking to tutor different ranges of math from middle school (6-8th grade) and high school (algebra 1-calculus). My plan is to connect with students who are looking for someone to guide them instead of feeling intimidated to ask questions. I know how it feels to be scared to ask questions, which is why I want to help students overcome their challenges!
I'm hoping to build a sense of trust with students and make them feel comfortable through my tutoring services. During the first meeting with the student, I want to spend time listening to the student's concerns and what their goals are. As a tutor, I want the student to view me as a "friendly guide". I'm willing to adjust to the student's needs, and we can work together to develop a method that works for you.
