About Teryese
I love teaching math! Helping students improve their nath skills is a passion of mine. I try to make learning creative and engaging.
I have experience working with students on math content. I enjoying it when students arrive at the answer on their own, and when their faces light because they understood the problem.
I tutored classmates in college. I am working on getting a teacher certificate with an alternate program.
I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a masters degree in child and adolescent development. I have done work study in tutoring students during college for 2 years.

I would like to get to know the student first. I want to know their likes, dislikes, and interests. Marh connects in a lot of ways so connecting it to activities that students fond enjoyable may help them to enjoy math as well.
I have worked with classmates and students on the Autism spectrum.
The student should be committed to work. My job is to be a guide, I will never do the work for you. I will give you the tools, but you have to build.
