About Charlie-louisa
Hey there! I'm Charlie Sjogren-Black, and I'm thrilled to be your tutor. Currently, I'm a senior at UCLA pursuing a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, where I've maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. Alongside my studies, I'm actively engaged in cutting-edge neuroscience research at both UCLA and UCSF, exploring fascinating aspects of the brain's function and development.
Education has always been a passion of mine, reflected in my exceptional MCAT score of 522 (placing me in the 99th percentile). I specialize in guiding students through challenging subjects like AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Calculus, achieving top scores of 5 on all corresponding exams myself.
What sets my tutoring style apart is my approachability and empathy. I believe in teaching not just as an instructor, but as a supportive peer. I've worked with students ranging from middle school to college age, adapting my methods to each individual's learning style and pace.
