About Teresa
With 30 years of tutoring and teaching experience, I have helped learners understand and begin to appreciate mathematics.
March - May this year I tutored Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1, both privately and at a charter school in Palm Beach County, with some exceptional results.
This summer I will also be creating online resources and presenting virtual events for parents and students.
I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mathematical Sciences. I am also a certified teacher for Secondary Math (Grades 6-12), Elementary Education (Grades KG - 6), Exceptional Student Education (Grades KG-12), and Elementary Montessori Education.

I like to discuss new clients’ questions/concerns and coach them through some math homework or other activity to gauge their number sense, fact fluency, vocabulary, and ability to translate real world contexts into math problems.
