In 2011 was offered a position to teach and found out that I really like it.
Holds CPC and CPC-I certifications through AAPC.
Worked in a hospital for over 17 years in different areas and also when we moved south was employed at doctors offices.

Getting to know just where students are in their medical coding training. Work to resolve the difficulties they maybe having and let them know that their goals can be achieved.
Students that have already taken a medical coding course or those just starting out to learn.
Someone who you has the experience as well as a sense of humor!! Also patience.
Getting a text from a student who passed her certification (CPC) exam while I was on vacation :)

It was very easy to navigate to find the right tutor base on your teaching style as well as giving you the average cost in the tutoring service. Ms. Jane is an excellent tutor. She show ways to attack the CPC question by eliminating and looking for the key words. She was very easy going and easy to understand.
