About Lonnie
We all know Nursing school is hard and there is so much to learn! Some students feel like they cant do it or they made a mistake.... But I am here to tell you... YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! And I will help you. I offer students my 20 years of Nursing expertise as well as my teaching experience from an ADN program that had a 97% NCLEX pass rate! I specialize in Medical-Surgical, Psych, Cardiac, Resp, Nutrition, Pharmacology, and Immune. Please let me help you learn the wonderful profession of Nursing and help you be the best Nurse you can be!
I have a Master's degree in Nursing Education. I also have taken numerous classes for active learning. I am Distance Education Certified for online teaching. I have my Certified Dementia Practitioner as well.

When I first meet a student I like to see where they are, what type of learner they are, what motivates them. Then we move on together from there. We discuss what difficulties they have, or as I like to say,what opportunities they have... I try to make the concepts relate to life so they make sense and can be understood.
