About Jessica
My name is Jessi, and I have been tutoring the Korean language for the past two years. I am a Korean-American currently residing in Dublin, Ireland after I spent time living in Seoul, South Korea. It has been amazing to watch my culture gain popularity and admiration in recent years, and the benefits to learning a new language go beyond being able to understand your favorite songs and dramas. It allows you to have deeper connections with other people. The Korean language, especially, offers a very different perspective, with many words that don’t exist in English for emotions and situations that can greatly contribute to one’s emotional intelligence.

I understand the endless cycle of wanting to learn a new language, only to lose your Duolingo streak after a couple of weeks. Let's face it, it's difficult to stay dedicated to practicing when you don't have an obligation to do so and when you don't have someone to guide your learning. My job is to provide those exact things for you. Classes are super casual, and I am a firm believer in learning through speaking as well as studying. Jessi is such a sweet girl and an incredibly impressive tutor, she taught me so well and i learned so much from her! 100% recommend to anyone in or around Dublin.
Jessi spent a year in Korea learning and improving her Korean skills which really help her gain insight to a persons first introductions and fears to learning Korean. Lasy year, she also taught Korean in Trinity College Dublin as a part of the Korean Society 'beginner Korean classes'. Her bright, chatty persinality always makes any class and conversation welcoming as well as accomodating for scheduling and learning outcomes. I love learning about her experiences in Korea along with improving my grammar and pronounciation with her!
