About Cheryl
Cheryl D. Smith is a certified Pilates instructor under the Erika Bloom Comprehensive Pilates program, which provides instruction on both mat work and 500+ hours of apparatus training. She is also certified in TRX Suspension Training and has a Level 3 Personal Training Certificate from the Personal Training Institute (PTI) in Rye Brook, N.Y.
Cheryl discovered Pilates after a friend lent her an home workout DVD. She was astounded by the results of her body’s transformation after giving Pilates a try and began teaching her newly found passion of the exercise to her friends. Casual teachings lead to sunrise sessions on the beach, afternoon workouts and private home visits.
In 2014, Cheryl established the Good Life Experience (GLE) Pilates Studio in Armonk, N.Y., where she provides personalized care and dedication to her clients’ fitness goals and success.
She uses therapeutic and challenging exercises tailored for her clients and encourages good health, good fortune, happiness and well-being to create a total mind and body transformation.
