About Eddie
Eddie is Ultimate Performance’s Global Head of Gym Floor Personal Training, a role he has undertaken since 2017. He is currently based at U.P.’s Los Angeles gym, where he is one of the most sought-after personal trainers in the country.
Just some of the high-profile clients he has worked with at U.P. include Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman, Golden Globe nominee Lily Collins, Kevin McHale (Glee), Lamorne Morris (New Girl) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick)
Eddie has been with U.P. since 2010, making him U.P.’s longest-serving personal trainer. His journey began when he graduated from The Vasile Alecsandri University of Bacău - in his native Romania – in 2002, with a degree in Exercise Science.
Since then, Eddie has amassed a number of qualifications, including Premier Training International (2008), Poliquin PICP 1&2 and Biosignature 1&2, Neuro Kinetic Therapy 1&2, Active Release Techniques 1&2, Resistance Training Specialist (Mastery Level), and is also a Strength Sensi Ambassador.
Upon joining U.P. in 2010, just as CEO Nick Mitchell was embarking on the first steps of the Ultimate Performance journey, Eddie worked for two years as a trainer. In 2012, he was promoted to Gym Manager at U.P.’s London City gym, before becoming Head of Personal Training for all London gyms in 2013. Just two years later, Eddie became Head of Personal Training for all UK gyms, before embarking on his current role as Global Head of Gym Floor Personal Training.
