About Alli
Hi! I’m Alli. I’m a 44 year old mother of 5.
I am a pe and yoga teacher to kids. I also coach volleyball and take pictures. I love what I do. I have been practicing yoga since 2013. I have a 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate and have been teaching kids yoga daily since September 2018. I also have a teaching degree in elementary education and have taught and coached high school as well. I played on two CIF and State Champion teams in high school and worked hard enough to earn a college scholarship.
I struggle with chronic body pain and yoga is truly the only relief for me. I joke I’m like the Tin Man and yoga is my oil. If I stop moving, I will stop moving, you know?
I want to teach people how to take care of themselves. You know the saying, “Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.” I will teach you how to fish. I have many life hacks to share. I want to get into life with you and help you live your greatest life!!! Find out what you were born to do and DO IT!!!
I am good at what I do. Very good. Please seriously consider hiring me as your coach. I will give you my all!!! I research and write lesson plans for yoga and volleyball. I enjoy learning and growing and caring and sharing.

I started teaching as a young child when I would make up spelling and math tests for my younger cousins. I then went to college and received a teaching credential. I started coaching volleyball after college. I have taught elementary and high school and have coached high school and youth volleyball and yoga.
I played volleyball from 7th grade school and club teams through high school and was fortunate enough to earn a college scholarship as well. After college, I started teaching school and coaching volleyball. I did that for a number of years.
I have been practicing yoga for about 4 years and started teaching kids yoga last September. I love working with kids and teaching them the amazing benefits of yoga is so awesome.

I first like to find out the goals of my student. I can then form lessons that lead us towards that goal. I am very foundationally based and believe something like the correct foot work in volleyball must be learned before the “fun stuff” can be tackled. There is a conditioning portion to my lessons because I know how important agility and stamina and strength are to every sport.
I have worked with students from two years old all the way through college level.
Find someone who you enjoy being around. Someone who is encouraging as well as knowledgeable in your area of need. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and make sure you can be yourself around your coach.
I get very excited to see progress in my students. I love to see them grow and become more confident in their skills.
