About Paula
I chose to train with The National Accademy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Their scientific researched-based Optimum Performence Training (OPT) model is used by thousands of athletes to achieve high performance in their sport. In addition, my NASM Stretch and Flexibility Coach training allows for an integrated approach to my personal training. One that incorporates both mobility and flexibility, as well as core stability, as a foundation for endurance and strenght training.
I love it when a client tells me that they are experiencing the pain relief associated with having mobile joints, soft tissue extensibility, and increased muscle endurence. Or that they are able to keep up with the grandkids on outdoor adventures.
I was experiencing extreme neck and shoulder pain. I went to my doctor who referred me to physical therapy. During therapy I learned that about 90% of low back pain and many other aches and pains are musculature. This is how my facination with stretching and joint mobility started.
I've been working with mature clients for the past two years and have witnessed some remarkable results. I choose to change careers after 15 years in education since I fell in love with stretching, flexibility and human movement The potential pain releive it provides when practiced correctly motivated me to pursue my own business in assisted-stretching and personal training.

All potential clients receive a free diagnostic assessment during their first visit. In the course of this visit client goals will be discussed and physical skills assessed. In addition, a time-line to achieve the desired goals will be addressed. The information gathered in our first meeting will be used to design your personalized program.
I specialize in active older adults and seniors.
Make sure your trainer has been trained by reputable institutions. Not all training is the same.
