About Thomsen
With the combination of my education in Clinical Exercise Physiology, 20+ years experience, manual therapy, myofascial release and muscle activation advanced training, I can help you wherever you are at in your life journey. Let me help you move better, teach you how to help yourself move better and reduce pain and get stronger. I have advanced certifications through the following agencies:
Certified Personal Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist through National Academy of Sports Medicine
Yamuna Body Rolling Practitioner/Trainer
Muscle Activation Techniques Jump Start certified
Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist through American College of Sports Medicine
Certified Essential Oil Coach through The Essential Oil Institute
Every person is different and one of my strengths is to analyze data, break it down and figure out what exactly is going on and then try to fix each part and put it back together so the whole person can work more efficiently. I can help realign your structure, help you lengthen your soft tissues and then we can work on getting stronger. I have also teamed up with chiropractors, functional medicine specialists and physical therapists so we can work together to help each and every person. I just love helping people.
Ever since I was in graduate school, my passion has always sat with educating every person I come in contact with. Education is power and my goal is to always teach my clients how their body works and then teach them how to improve their performance. Every car drives the same, but each cars performance is greatly different.
I have an undergrad and graduate degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and numerous advanced certifications through The American College of Sports Medicine, National Academy of Sports Medicine, Muscle Activation Techniques, Yamuna Body Rolling and The Essential Oil Institute. I have almost 25 years of experience in the fitness industry.

I always want to meet in person for the initial consultation. It gives my new student and myself some time to communicate on all levels and for me to listen to the student and begin to formulate a plan of how we can work together to work towards a goal.

I would interview each person you are looking at hiring. Anyone can look great on paper, but remember its personal training so you as the client need to be able to connect with the person who will be your personal trainer.
