About Steven
Everything about fitness needs to change because we're NOT helping people the way we hope we are. Workouts are too extreme and cause people to get burnt out. Diets are too restrictive and cause people to break the rules.
With Simple Success Fitness, I'm working on changing fitness by giving a realistic approach for real people to get real (and really long lasting) results
I saw too much pain. People are hurt, physically and emotionally, because of poor fitness levels. I see fitness as a gateway to a healthier, happier life and have been incredibly fulfilled helping others transform their self-identity

A couple entry questionnaires that get followed up with a personal phone call to ensure I'm not missing or misunderstanding vital information. From there, all fitness lessons are personalized based on your goals, experience, and needs.
With fitness, I've run the fill gambit from college athletes to a 90-year old great-grandmother. I've helped people who wanted to lose fat and those that wanted to gain muscle.
My area of focus and specialization are people starting or restarting their fitness journey and want their results to stick
Few trainers and coaches think about day 1. Fitness is filled with fitness fanatics talking and thinking of other fitness-minded people. Make sure your coach doesn't expect an iron-willed diet or a large, intense workout when you start or else you're unlikely to have long-term success
A client went on a skiing trip and did three times as many runs as last winter. Another client went to Mt. Zion national park and did an incredibly long hike. They both realized how much fitness has unlocked life's opportunities while on these fun vacations.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
People don't often know how to admit their own goals. People stop on the surface, but you should ask more of your goal. Do you want to lose 10 pounds? Why? What will losing 10lbs do for you? Do you want to lose 10lbs or do you want to feel more confident in your body? Maybe you want to lose 10lbs to be a better role model for your kids. Maybe the 10lbs is so you can wake up without aches and pains.
Ask yourself "what is your goal and WHY does that goal matter to you?"
