About Barbara
Welcome to Managed Fitness Barre and Pilates studio located in downtown Summit. Our intimate studio offers an affordable alternative to a large gym. We offer small class sizes and personal attention in a welcoming and supportive environment. The Managed Fitness studio is conveniently located at 12 Bank Street, just a few steps from the Summit NJ train station. The studio is designed to ensure your time with us is enjoyable and positive!
We truly appreciate and value our clients. We are committed to providing high quality instruction and service. Our classes are one full hour, there are no monthly memberships and we offer a 12 hour cancellation window for all all group classes (Reformer and Fitness)! Added benefit for Reformer classes; if you cancel on line within the 12 hour window, if we fill your spot – no charge to you!
The mind body awareness that Pilates provides enables students to build core strength, improved alignment and posture.

Managed Fitness classes are challenging but fun. Everyone is encouraged to work out to his/her own comfort level. Great camaraderie and support from all of the instructors and clients as well. A fun and welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Barre classes.
