About David
I am portrait and editorial lifestyle photographer. For more than two decades, my aesthetic and evocative approach to photographing has allowed for me to come into the presence of many wonderful people. I believe a portrait is a form of a biography, who we are today and who we were in years past, telling my clients’ stories by capturing the moment in perfect light is my life long work.
I have intimate technical knowledge of cameras from working as Senior Technical Representative for Canon Inc. I gave speeches and workshops around the world on imaging technology and cameras. Being a mentor and instructor for Digital Film Academy, IFP, Maine Media Workshops, and personal photographic workshops for children and adults. Teaching lighting, color theory, composition, art history and the emotional empact of creating images. I have created documentaries on several dozen famous photographers and created tutorials and commercial videos for Canon, Light & Motion, Samsung to name but a few.

The typical process with work with a new student starts with a consultation. In the consultation we discuss your goals and previous photographic knowledge. I then create a catered lession plan to focus on your growth needs.
