About Patrick
I'm a retired Management Consultant. I've taught classes on many topics for universities, state of CA, and many corporate clients. In 2013 I decided to hang out my shingle as a Professional photographer after 40 years as a hobby and studying photography with some of the photography greats like Ansel Adams. I can help you with any aspect of photography from how to best use your equipment to how to edit photos using Adobe Software like Photoshop, Lightroom, or Luminar 4 (base software is free). It was part of my job and something I enjoyed.
I've studied photography for over 40 years with some of the greats. I've taught photography classes for the Calabasas Sr. Center. During my career as a management consultant I've taugh clases on many topics and understand to communitcate very technicl issues in a non-technical terms.

First and foremost is talking with the student to understand what they want to learn about. There are so many aspects to photography it is important to understand where we should start
All levels of photography skills and ages.
Have clear goals of what you'd like to improve. Have examples of your best work and what you'd like to do better.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Photography can be taught to anyone with an interest. Expensive equipment is not required because photograph priciples apply to any camera whether it's a cellphone, to an entry camera, or even high end equipment you'd just like to learn how to use it better. Just like in cooking it's not the pan that makes great food, it's the knowledge of how to use it and the ingredients.

Photography with Pat is a humbling reality.
