During the pandemic, my daughter took online piano lessons from Dr. Soylar. She is an excellent teacher who is incredibly patient and knowledgeable.

I am learning the piano as an adult for the first time. Have tried multiple teachers, online classes, books, you name it i've experimented with. While everything played a role in introducing me to the instrument and music theory, I've found working with Cagdas the most rewarding and effective method.

She is fun to work with yet firm in making sure i get good learnings out of our time together. We pick pieces that I enjoy and will keep me motivated to practice yet are appropriate for my level. She does not hesitate to suggest a different piece when my choice is a bit too advanced for me, and she is quick to point when i'm picking something that is too easy for me.

She is flexible to accommodate to my work demands both in terms of planning week by week what's reasonable to expect and also making re-scheduling/reprogramming very easy.
