About Flora
I enjoy teaching and I have lots of patience! All my students are eligible for state piano testing.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in music composition. While I was at the university, I was studying piano privately. At the age of 6, I went to Yamaha school of music for a few years.
Currently I am the Vice President of Music Teachers Association of California, Lakewood-Cerritos Branch. All my students are eligible for Certificate of Merits (state piano tests).

I start with getting familiarized with the keyboard and basic introductory musical terms. After that we will learn about pressing keys with individual fingers while reading the finger numbers in the music. Eventually, they will learn how to read notes.
