About Rachel
I love playing for artists on big stages. I was recently spotted playing for Brother Joe and Āelle by Garth Brooks! He gave us a huge shout out on Studio G.
I love showing students how to perform and really express the music with feeling.
I love playing piano and I am a good teacher! My mom taught and I found out that I was pretty good at it too!
I studied piano and voice at Marian College and also took private piano lessons for four years.
I have a Master’s in Education and studied to be an elementary teacher.

I ask them why they want to play piano and get to know them a bit. I'll do a quick survey on what they know and what they want to learn. I show them how a piano works, the patterns of the keys, and play a song with them to get them excited about playing!

They have had zero experience all the way up to advanced.
Choose a teacher who has a great personality and is inspiring for you. Give them a try first.
I have a student with a learning disability and he read two pieces of music flawlessly in tempo! I was so proud of him and he was too!

Great teacher! She's great at making everything easy to understand.
Rachel is a fantastic teacher! She is patient, knowledgeable, and kind with my young student. She challenges him to learn in a gentle, encouraging way, and it works! He loves to practice and play!
Rachel is positive and upbeat, and knows how to work with my kids’ strengths. She makes learning fun and my kids have really looked forward to their lessons with her. I also appreciate that she challenges my kids and is helping them lay a musical foundation they can really build on. Rachel os awesome!
