About Tim
I focus on having my students know that learning to play the piano and being musical is a natural process. I help my students to gradually become more and more independent learners.
I studied music performance at Louisiana State University, and I went on to earn a Bachelor's degree at Ashford University in Social Sciences and Education. I was a piano teacher and accompanist at Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg. In addition to teaching piano; I currently provide music therapy sessions at memory care and ALF facilities.
I feel like I've been a musician since birth, and I love music now more than ever. It's wonderful to see my students enjoy playing the piano, and their sense of accomplishment while learning.

Tim is great with kids! He’s very patient with young kids and flexible in schedule should a last minute conflict arise. I love that he comes to the house to teach. My boys are very happy with him.
