About Alvin
I am a passionate and enthusiastic piano teacher who enjoys teaching students of all levels and ages. Private lessons are tailored to each student and are carefully planned to help students achieve their individual goals. I believe in providing an all-rounded musical education and experience that involves the mastery of piano technique, learning music theory and history, ear training and listening exercises, as well as composition and improvisation activities.
Students who study with me through the University of Idaho Preparatory Division gain opportunities for performing at recitals every semester, participate in masterclasses with distinguished faculty, as well as perform at local festivals and adjudications, among others.
I earned my Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the University of Idaho in 2019 and have taught students ranging from age 6 to undergraduate college students.
Please contact me for more details about studying piano with me. I look forward to going on a musical journey with you and your child.
I have a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Idaho. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Music from Gustavus Adolphus College, MN.
