About Tom
It is my goal to maintain the strict traditions of musicianship for classical pianists. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I have performed and competed internationally with great success. Steeped in the "Russian School" technique of Alexander (Sascha) Gorodnitsky, I strive to perpetuate this approach of developing coloration using the weight of the wrist while maintaining maximum mechanical efficiency. Having competed for years in many international competitions, I am well suited to prepare any student for both the preliminary and final rounds of both competitions and local adjudications such as NYSSMA.
