Ms. Hampton is a kind, friendly, and experienced piano teacher with a lot of patience. My daughter, who has been her student for 6 years now, likes her teaching style. Ms. Hampton knows how to motivate and encourage my daughter to enjoy music and to try her best. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn piano.

Ms. Carolyn Hampton is an exceptional piano instructor! I took lessons with her for 4-5 years and my skills improved greatly. I started as an "advanced beginner" with about 1 year experience beforehand. With some dedication and hard work on the student's behalf, she can teach anyone to play the piano well. Ms. Hampton is such an effective instructor because of her knowledge of written music, her years of experience playing keyboard instruments such as the piano and the pipe organ, and her dedication to all of the students she is teaching. I found that she is able to adapt to each student and suit their instructional needs very well. Regardless of your background in music or knowledge of sheet music, she will be able to teach you how to play and how to learn to read music. I am no longer a student of Ms. Hampton, however I still continue to play the piano to this day. She is one of the reasons for that! I recommend her completely for anyone learning to play the piano!
