About Franco
My name is Francesco Avella.
I have been the Head Pickleball Pro at various clubs throughout Northern California and am now the Pickleball Pro at the Fort. I am certified to teach and have been teaching the sport for 4 years now. I compete in PPA and APP Pro Qualifier tournaments and am a 5.2 skill level. I have invested over 5,000 hours into the sport and continue to pour my heart into this beautiful game.
Before Pickleball, my dream was to become a General Manager of a professional sports team. I went to UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and then Columbia University to get my masters in Sports Management.
Finally, if you want to see some of my work, visit my instagram page @i_am_pickleball where I share fun Pickleball content. I’m excited to collaborate and work with you!
