About Erik
I teach wheel throwing from my melbourne beach studio. I have 4 wheels and a ton of clay, and I can teach anyone who is capable of listening and doing. I was the ceramics director at the Ocean City center for the arts, and have opperated my oun studio for over 40 years. I teach technique and skills. We keep nothing made during lessons, but acceptable pieces may be fired if made during free time.

It depends on the skill they may have. I can access their ability and improve any excising skills. We work toward their goals, I custom design each 'individual potter profile" so that students can excel at their own pace. Ideally I can help them set up a home studio for their needs, finding a used wheel or kiln as well as other equipment.
