About Samantha
ABOUT ME:
I have been working in the elementary school setting since 2016, and I had the opportunity to start as an AmeriCorps member as a reading and math tutor.
I worked alongside service members working across grades K-12, and learned about lifelong learning strategies during that time.
As someone who took the AP Psychology test, as well as learned amazing study skills and strategies to help remember those concepts, I think I would be a great asset.
I have worked with English Language Learners throughout my education career, and I can tailor supports that work for any proficiency level.
I can help with homework support, Post-secondary learning, help you come to your own ideas to start homework or to finish when you feel stuck.
I am also currently a Graduate student attending Lewis & Clark in the School Counseling program. If you are looking for support or help applying for college or grad school, I can help provide insight.

Minored in Public Health Education from Portland State University
Graduated on the Dean's List from Portland State University
Served as a Kiwanis Camp Counselor for my Senior Capstone (Thesis) for Learning From Others, which prepared me and emboldened me to work with all learners of any ability.
