About Chris
I've given speeches for over 25 years. I've done workshops for elementary and middle school students as well as C-Suite executives.
I've taught public speaking at the college level for the last six years. I'm now completing my PhD in mass communication.
I've taught a variety of communication courses on the undergraduate and graduate level. These include writing courses, interpersonal communication courses, persuasion courses, as well as advertising and social media courses.
I use my personality and sense of humor to help you learn and my student evaluations are very positive. Let me help you become a better communicator.
I have a master's in communication from the College of Charleston and I am currently working on my dissertation for my PhD in mass communication at the University of South Carolina. I've given speeches on the senate floor of the Louisiana State Senate, at many conferences, as well as weddings and training sessions.

Before starting any sort of session, I like to get to know my students and set expectations for both parties. Once we understand which direction we want to go, we dive right in. I also want to keep in contact with students to make sure their expectations are being met. If not, I make adjustments to ensure students get their money's worth.
