About Sarah
I pride myself on my commitment to my students and my passion for tutoring. Each topic I teach is something that is meaningful to me and I hope that is conveyed to my students.
I enjoy the work because seeing a student make progress is a wonderful feeling. To see them work hard, engage in the lesson, and truly learn from it is amazing. The students continually inspired me!
I was a student aide in a special education classroom, teaching and helping the students. I also intern in a microbiology lab and help teach new interns. I have peer reviewed essays for most of my college classes.
I am a Biology major in college with a specialty in microbiology. I also am a psychology minor. I have years of math experience including, geometry, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus and statistics. I have experience in general biology, basic genetics, microbiology, and psychology. I have public speaking experience, as well as critical writing and writing emphasis courses in population studies, and women and gender studies.

We will get to know my students strengths and weaknesses. We will determine a strategy to set the student up to succeed. I am very flexible with scheduling and will accommodate their needs and requests. We will start and end lessons with any questions.
I have worked mainly with special education students, and peers in the classroom, but I look forward to expanding my resume to include any student who may seek help!
