About Crystal
Our mission is to provide high-quality, individualized tutoring services through certified teachers.
We want to emphasize our partnership with you in meeting your academic goals. Harrison Tutoring Academy is passionate about the inclusion of all children in the education process, as well as creating a hands-on, engaging, real-life application of skills. It is our goal to share the passion we have for teaching with you and to demonstrate how integral you are in igniting the passion for learning within yourself.
I attend Stephens College, where I initially studied business and fashion design. However, after studying abroad in Rome, Italy, my focus changed toward what would eventually become my passion - teaching! I decided to return to the US and attend the University of Missouri to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. With five years of classroom experience and my multicultural certificate, I chose to act on my desire to help all children learn. I returned to the University of Missouri to obtain my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I taught Early Childhood Special Education within the Public School system before moving to teach 2nd grade at a private school. After years in the classroom, I decided to start a new endeavor and opened Harrison Tutoring Academy!
