About Teresa
Explore virtual learning tutoring program gets amazing results.
It is custom reading tutoring that makes the process fun.
Instead of teaching reading skills in isolation, I use a few simple games to create more streamlined pathway to instruction.
Sometimes when things like phonics, phonemic awareness, letter sounds etc. are taught in isolation not only does it take forever, but some students are unable to make the connection to fluent reading.
With the program that I use students are able to not only build decoding skills, but are able to blend and manipulate phonemic sounds more accurately to build reading fluency.
Designed for preK - 8th grade that are at least 1 grade level behind in reading comprehension.
This is not an impersonal computer program - I will visit your home or online and work with you and your child one on one.
Online Reading Tutoring For Elementary/Middle School Students
I may not teach full time in a public school but I have a tremendous amount of experience working with preschool through high school students as a teacher, tutor, parent, and youth leader.
I also provide an after school learning group where I have an assistant that provides homework help. I then work with each child individually with reading, math, etc. Basically whatever the student is having trouble with. I also provide academic coaching that teaches students study and organizational skills. Soon I will provide hybrid classes for high school students.
These will include Acedemic Coaching Topics, Heath, Personal Finance, and leadership.
