About Madison
As a tutor, I specialize in "breaking things down" in a way that makes sense. I meet students where they are and customize sessions to meet their specific needs.
The best part about working with students is seeing how they grow, change, and apply their learning. I love the moment when instruction "clicks" for struggling learners and they are finally able to apply what they have learned to their coursework.
I have a B.A. degree in Secondary English Education and am certified to teach English Language Arts in Tennessee. I have been teaching in the classroom since 2014.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would recommend that students first think about what they already know instead of being discouraged by what they don't know. A tutor's job is to "bridge the gap" between what students know and what they need to know, so it's important for students to be able to explain what that "gap" looks like.
