About Robert
We move students from unfamiliarity and fear to mastery and joy of sailing.
Over 50+ years of sailing and racing experience out of Westport Harbor, MA and Center Harbor Brooklyn, ME in 10' Pond boat, 12' Beetle Cats, Rhodes 19', 31' Concordia Sloop and Hinckley Bermuda 40s.
What to Expect:
Back to Basics... if you sign up for 1 class or 10 classes, our sailors not only get to experience the joy of sailing but will receive superior knowledge in Mastery of Basics of Sailing, Parts of the Boat, Wind Direction, Safety, Mastery of Knot Tying, How to Row a Dingy, Boat Maintenance, How to Bail, How to Tack, Jibe, Stop, Approach & Pick up a Mooring, How to Rig & De-rig your boat properly, or Rules of Racing for more advanced sailors ready to jump to the next level.
We are a hands on group and make sure students participate using all their senses on how to maneuver around a boat safely.
Great for ages 7+. Need to be ready to listen, learn and have fun!
Things to Bring: Sunscreen, Hat/Visor, PFD (fitted Life Preserver), bathing suit, towel, proper foot wear (ie. boat shoes / watershoes), water bottle, snack.
Must know how to swim.
Lessons run anywhere from 1- 3hrs or we can set up a series of classes.

We start w/ the Basics of Sailing and find out if they have any fears on the water or in a boat. Once we establish what they are we work together to overovercome those fears and feel empowered throughout the sailing process.
