About Andrey
What is Russian Systema?
Systema is an ancient Russian Martial Art that was adapted for modern warfare by the Russian Special Operations. Needing the fastest, most effective training for their elite fighters, the Soviets rediscovered Systema. Systema was held in the highest classification by the Soviets until just recently when it was revealed by Vasiliev and Ryabko to the West.
Systema is subtle, brutal and uncompromising form of defense, covering all aspects of combat training - hand to hand to the use of weapons in any and all combat environments.
Who can train in Systema Combat?
Systema is a excellent complimentary skill for Law Enforcement Officers, Security Officers, First Responders and Military Personnel but because Systema uses your own capabilities it is ideal for a individual with no martial arts background. SYSTEMA COMBAT will present tactics to overcome adversity and gain a new sense of yourself, regardless of your background, previous experience or conditioning.
SYSTEMA COMBAT offers a complete reality based, self defense class for professional or everyday citizens.
Andrey Patenko holds a B.A degree Physical culture and sport /he is a former Russian SPETSNAZ, certified Russian Martial Art Systema Instructor and RKC-level 2 Strong First Level-2 Kettlebell instructor, with over 30 years of Martial Art experience. Andrey was an officer for the Regional Central Police Department (Russia) responsible for combat and firearms training and has worked as a VIP Bodyguard in the private Security Service. His expertise is in the fields of strength & combat conditioning and self defense.

What will you learn in Systema Combat Class?
SYSTEMA COMBAT is a practical, reality based defense training program designed to give you immediate results. In class, you will learn to conquer your fears, neutralize any threats using your own capabilities. The program will develop skills to launch powerful strikes and how to survive those strikes, defend yourself and your loved ones against any weapon, escape from holds and ground fighting.
SYSTEMA COMBAT will increase your confidence, reduce stress and greatly improve your quality of life.
Training will include but is not limited to:
* Develop your natural mobility and precision movements to defend yourself and your loved ones against attacks.
* Strike absorption - learn to take and deliver an effective punches.
* Channel your opponent's energy away from you, using it to your advantage.
* Maximize your ability to escape from holds.
* Escape from multiple attackers.
* Train in ground fighting techniques to escape and survive.
* Improvised Weapons Use.
* Combative Physical, Psychological Conditioning
* Practice innovative breathing techniques. Learn to control fear and increase concentration for survival.
