About Cecile
You are welcome to come to my sewing studio and learn the basics of quilting. I have a variety of sewing machines, and a selection of the finest quilting tools. You can start with a simple quilt, get help finishing grandma's quilt, or learn some new techniques: Let's talk about YOU and Your Goals for quilting. I've taught many people to quilt, including people who didn't know how to thread a sewing machine. If you want to learn, I can teach you.
I've been around quilting and quilters since I was a young child. My mom made quilts for family, for her church and for anyone who needed some cheering up. Her passion stirred mine, and I've taken classes and been part of the local Quilters Unlimited guild, and shown my quilts in their shows.

We will start with assessing your skills and your goals. Would you like to begin with a simple baby quilt? Have you been trying to make a t-shirt quilt? Would you like to make a quilt with more complex color combinations or designs? Or would you just like to know why your squares don't seem straight? We'll go over all that, and move at your pace.
